  5. Aline Serpa looks "Asian" in the new YSL Spring Look 2008 ad and in the 2nd and 3rd last photos of this editorial for L'Uomo Vogue.

  6. When I look at her, I see Asian. Maybe its the one drop rule we have in the states.

Saying this lady does not have an Asian look is like saying that Alica Keys and Beyonce don't have a black look. Althought I an not Asian, I must say that with close to 2 billion people the "Asian look" has a wide range.

P.S. I like these pics a lot. She is really working that headwrap.

  7. She looks slightly asian in some angles but more european in others. She's definitely eurasian, probably about 1/4? Her profile on fashionmodeldirectory.com lists her ethnicity is Japanese but born in Brazil. She's gorgeous though!

  8. What's with the not looking asian debate? She's gorgeous & elegant. Cant wait to see more pics and how she will develop. Tho I think she is the commercial face. She will become the asian model (if she is) marketed towards the "regular girl" or the "pin up fantasy" look ala Covergirl, Victoria Secret, Bergdorf Catalogues, Gap and etc. Waiting to see her in something more high fashion to see if she can transform into the stunning editorial girl.
