Liu Wen Editorial for Elle China, May 2010

I absolutely love the first image in this story. There is something about a beautiful woman looking out the window that gives it a little mystery. Why is she inside? Is she waiting for a lover? Or is she hiding from someone?

A similar photo that I first fell in love with was published in InStyle Magazine over 10 years ago. It was a shot of Kristin Scott Thomas looking out onto Broadway from inside the windows of Dean & Deluca. It was a story of her promotion the movie, The Horse Whisperer starring Robert Redford and a very young Scarlett Johansson.
