This is huge. She's the first Asian model to grace the cover as a solo.

This is history. The first solo cover for an Asian model and the beautiful Fei Fei absolutely deserved this. She has been outshined by some of her peers but this will put the spotlight back to her. Vogue Italia is the most powerful cover of all Vogue editions. She's going to have a busy year. Asian models have conquered runways, editorials, campaigns but not covers. This could be the beginning of a new chapter.

Can I say that she look completely white?

Congratulations to her, but I hate that hair.

let's be honest..compared to most other east asian models, FEI FEI has the most caucasian looking features of the bunch...except for her eyes, fei fei looks pretty much caucasian with her thin slender nose and her small oval face shape. I am not surprised that Meisel favors her from the other asian top models and that she's been getting the opportunities that she has been..congrats to fei fei! but i wish other asian models who don't have caucasian features had an equal opportunity to prove themselves too.

I agree with one of the comments. They did make her look white. The eye makeup kind of hid her ethnicity.

It's an irony she's the first Asian cover but she does not look Asian here. airbrush and make up?

Truly a landmark achievement for Feifei! Though I can't say I'm terribly fond of the picture they chose for the cover.

She does have Caucasian features which is why she gets more exposure. Just like black models. The industry prefers white girls dipped in chocolate instead of the real ethnic black. That's why Joan Smalls and Liya Kebede get more work than Alek Wek or other real black girls. It's a racist industry. But still happy for Fei Fei. I have always been her fan. She's more beautiful than Liu. This cover spells longevity all over her name.

What is everyone talking about? She does not look caucasian. If anything, she's the most "stereotypical" looking asian of the bunch. Stop buying into the belief that all asians look the same. We all don't have flat noses or single lids or round faces. We come in all sorts of forms and by saying she was chosen bc she looks the most caucasian is downright ignorant and insulting. Liu Wen, Du Juan, Shu Pei, Sui He and Fei Fei all look Asian bc THEY ARE.

OMG! Whoever said that she doesn't look Asian must be blind because no matter how thick the makeup (which perhaps overly accentuated her already caucasian-looking features to be more white-looking) is, she still does look fairly Asian to me.
