I absolutely LOVE this story, especially the last image. This is why Du Juan is the #1 Asian model in the world.

DuJuan<3
OMG du juan is perfection!!!
ReplyDeleteyou got dat right
ReplyDeleteshe sure is the #1 asian model <333
Du Juan is amazing as always...this editorial is no exception....can you also post emma xie, so young kang and ling ling couture editorial in L'Official Paris october issue, it's a work of art!!!!
ReplyDeleteShe never fails to deliver, it just depends on the stylists and photographers
ReplyDeleteShe will always reign supreme over the chinese models.
Winter comes early for Du Juan in Vogue China December. Photographed by Richard Ramos and styled by Yi Guo, Du Juan enters a winter wonderland filled with snow and sparkling lights. Donning ensembles featuring the work of Dolce & Gabbana, Max Mara, Louis Vuitton and others, the Chinese beauty exudes allure and glamour.
ReplyDeleteNever a bad picture.
ReplyDeleteLiu Wen has achieved more than Du Juan.
ReplyDeleteTo anon(10:51PM)
ReplyDeletedoubtful, has Liu been in Vuitton, Giorgio armani, roberto cavalli,..........'s ads? No, she might have walked more shows than Du but it doesnt make her achieved more than Du. Moreover, Du broke all the barriers to modeling for asian models. All hail Du
also Du is the only asian model featured on Vogue Paris
ReplyDeleteLove this editorial! It makes me excited for winter, and Du Juan looks amazing, as always.
ReplyDeletetrès belles! Du Juan, along with Ai, are still the best asian models by far.
ReplyDeletereally anonymous, because last time I checked, Du was and is the first and only Asian model to ever appear on the cover of french vogue. And can we count the number of blue chip campaigns Du has amassed in her career. So yeah, Liu Wen has done great so far, but her career pales in comparison to Du.
ReplyDeleteDu Juan is perfection, a goddess.
ReplyDeletei have always wanted to do makeup for a photoshoot amongst snow! it looks so dreamy.
ReplyDeleteDu cannot hope to be as runway-versatile as Liu simply because of her gorgeous looks... Liu is much more plain, cookie-cutter runway model
ReplyDeleteBlue Chip campaigns, varying on models don't pay as much as people think, especially since most of Du's campaigns came when she was a new face (the season she got YSL, LV, Cavalli).
ReplyDeleteUmm, you do realize Liu Wen has a cosmetics contract for Estee Lauder right? Cosmetic campaigns are what models hope to get, and Liu got the most prestigious brand. Models dream of getting cosmetic campaign. Look at Hilary Rhoda. She basically stopped doing runways once she got the cosmetic contract.
Well Du still scored Giorgio Armani, David Yurman, Anna Sui.... after her first debut.
ReplyDeleteAlso getting a cosmetics contract doesn't make her the greatest asian model, Du Juan had a Yue Sai (an asian line of Loreal) contract before
Un concept excellent
ReplyDeleteBRAVO
Eugénie & Lolita
I would put Ai tominaga and Hye Park ahead of Liu Wen. Unlike them she's never done a major High Fashion campaign. Gap and DKNY aren't YSL, Dolce, Gucci, Moschino etc. The majority of her Editorial work in Vogue China and Numero China based. Which is great but don't compare her to Du.
ReplyDeleteLiu also is the Asian face of Estee lauder her ads won't be worldwide like Hilary's.
this is beautiful
ReplyDeleteFREAKING BREATH TAKING.
ReplyDeleteso my simplified Chinese kind of sucks and that text is super tiny but the photog is Richard Ramos, Stephane Delgado did her hair, and errr those other words are hard to read. sorry :(
I really think Estee Lauder should've gone with her instead of Shi Pu. Du, is beyond words and her skin is like butter.
ReplyDeleteLiu Wen
ReplyDeletesorry.
she's always pretty and graceful effortlessly
ReplyDeleteMan she looks like a dream! Love the 6th and 7th!
