I can't help but compare Du to FeiFei, since they now have Jcrew modeling in common on their resume.
FeiFei's face is pretty harsh, which doesn't suit Jcrew's brand image. Now, perhaps it's due to the makeup and styling. But FeiFei's edginess might be more useful to brands like Rag and Bone.
Du Juan, on the other hand, has a more versatile face. She did very well in the Jcrew catalogue two years ago. And with her appearance in the Diesel catalog, she proves that she can also go the edgy route.
I'm sorry, but I think Fei Fei made JCrew's cashmere looked very sexy here, even when showing only a little bare skin. Which is how most women wants to be sexy I think and what JCrew is trying to project for winter since its sweater season. She is not too edgy for this. I think her beauty is not harsh here.
Du Juan brings elegance and sweetness to the JCrew collection. Completely different direction and story thus - uncomparable.
Sun fei fei is stunning and no one can deny her that. Currently, she's the best looking east asian model working today. She has such a soft elegant look to her but at the same time, this girl is capable of turning on the sexy and edgy look. I don't wanna buy everything she's wearing cuz i 'm not naive enough to think i can carry off wearing a blue turtle neck. LOL. but Sun fei fei can!!!!
