Hyun Yi Lee in Editorial for Vogue Korea, August 2010
Model: Hyun Yi Lee (Silent?) Editorial: Ice Age Magazine: Vogue Korea, August 2010 Photographer: Lee Gun Ho Stylist: Lee Ji Ah Hair: Lee Hye Young Makeup: Lee Ji Young
The ed's kind of nice, but only because Hyun Yi and the clothes saved it. It comes verrrrry close to looking amateurish, mainly because of the editing (the snow/ice brush thing going on).
if u live in the artics or antartics where its really cold, yes, the leather/fur/skin is necessary for heat.
I'm sure every Inuit/Siberian is clamouring to read the latest Vogue Korea.
By the way, the proper way to wear fur is having the fur on the inside, not outside, otherwise it does shitall. The fur displayed here is not at all for the purpose of function, but rather shameless extravagance and excess. But, that's fashion for you :)

ReplyDeleteagreed...
ReplyDeleteand the backdrop + lights are awful
Is all the fur really that necessary? All I'm seeing is a pile of corpses on top of a pretty model [and dog].

seriously. why does korean vogue's photography look so horrible? it was great a year or so ago.
ReplyDeletethese photoshoot is horrible
ReplyDeleteActually, I disagree! I think the ice effect, although not realistic, did add a layer of effect onto the story.
ReplyDeleteAs for the studio setting, I think Vogue Korea almost always uses studio sets. Even the outdoorsy stories are set in the studios.
