Han Jin Editorial for Vogue Korea, March 2010
Model: Han Jin (Marilyn) Editorial: Spring Breeze Magazine: Vogue Korea, March 2010 Photographer: Lee Gun-Ho Stylist: Lee Ji-Ah Hair: Chae Soo-hoon Makeup: Son Dae-shik
always something amiss about vogue korea. it's like the styling, the setting, and the photography are never quite in aesthetic harmony with each other. it's a shame.
han has such a quintessentially korean face...even before i knew her name or her ethnicity, just by looking at her facial features, i could tell the girl was korean. girl is fierce...watch her documentary on youtube.
This editorial is sublime. Model, makeup, styling, set design...extraordinary. If I absolutely had to give in to criticism, I'd say the black curtains look a little cheap in comparison to the rest of the set, and the lighting in those photos are a little too bright. Just a little, though, and certainly not enough to take away from the overall beauty of the editorial. Very nice, thanks for sharing!
don't like the studio backdrop :\
ReplyDeleteI LIKE IT WONDERFUL!
ReplyDeletegreat styling, clothes, hair and everything, but the backdrop and lack of depth in the photos don't bring it to its fullest potential.
ReplyDeleteidea is great but the final product. not so much.
ReplyDeletedo not like han jin
ReplyDeletei like the backdrop and the styling, but man does she have the same bored expression in every photo
