She is stunning - none of the other asian models can touch her. Of course I adore liu dan and Liu wen and the other major japanese model i am blanking out on now for some reason who has super severe but beautiful features. I find so many asian models while pretty or attractive are kind of generic in the same way most eastern european blonde models look generic. But DU JUAN is MAJOR - no longer an ASIAN model - but A MODEL - she transcends. But yes I do agree facial expressiveness is not her strong suit - but i dont feel her features can handle facial expressiveness other models can. Her face is extremely round and looks cut only in repose but when animated and expressive photographs horribly and NOT MODELESQUE.
she's amazing in that she can actually find work both in Asia and Europe and America. A lot of Asian models like Ly Yan has the unfortunately stigma of being considerated "hideous" by Asian standards. Du Juan is not a drop dead beauty by Asian standards, but she's definitely pretty by Asian standards. She looks a bit like actress Zhou Jun.
