This is the second collaboration between Hye Park and photographer, Laurie Bartley for (Italian) Flair Magazine. I love the action in the photography but Hye doesn't look her best here.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I agree with you. These pictures look alright, and I do like Hye, but these pictures aren't the greatest and aren't the most flattering. The only good ones are 2nd and 3rd.

ReplyDeleteAs for her looking stereotypically Korean, it is how the Western market sees Asian models. Ai Tominaga has a stereotypically Japanese face and Du Juan has that China doll face.
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think Sonny Zhou is gorgeous (plus she's 6') but she's look stereotypically anything. I think Western magazines will not use her for that reason.
