both models are quite pretty; i'm very happy to see more asian models in magazines that are actually pretty; americans usually have terrible taste when it comes to selecting asian models. it's better now, but the asian models i see in magazines are really unnactractive (puffy eyes, flat face, etc.). i guess that's just how americans portray all asians - slanty eyes and a flat-ish face.
agreed with tina here....what's up with that.....and ppl getting used to the idea which asian is oriental or indian....they forget about others....malaysian, indonesian....philipinos...btw...didn't know the last model id...hehhehe
ling tang maybe... ive seen her do a lot of american ads.
nothing wrong wtih slanty small eyes and flat faces. cant see why most asians dont find that look attractive. While I know NOT all asians have that look - it is the MAJORITY look. Asian stars have WAAAAAAAAAY too much plastic surgery/cosmetic enhancement that focuses not on enhancing what they got but going against it (americans/euros focus on boobs/lipo/slimming noses) asian surgery tends to focus on giving asians a distinctly NONASIAN look.
GOD...done this before.. the last model is ashley yao. she always does jcrew....
and she is no ling tang. and to the person that made the last comment: go to asia... slanted eyes and flat faces are NOT the norm. the genetic and environmental diversity in asia wouldn't allow for us all to look the same. do your research. One of the models frequently featured in this blog was recently criticised by a white, famous photographer for not looking "asian" enough...because she doesn't look like the stereotype of what we in the West think is "asian"....in asia...lots of women look like her...so they cut her face off in the final shot...
hye park beautiful.
ReplyDeletethese are old. they must be recycling the pictures.

ReplyDeleteNo, I don't think the last girl is Eugenia Mandazhieva.
ReplyDeleteat least western people appreciate slanted eyes... asians sure don't. everyone in korea/japan/etc all have these marble eyes thanks to plastic surgery

racism is very prevalent in the fashion industry.
